Andrew Haydon Park is situated along a fascinating stretch of the lower Ottawa River - where the river makes an almost 90-degree turn just before narrowing dramatically at the Deschênes Rapids, which are the only undeveloped rapids on this portion of the Ottawa River. This is a great spot for picnicking, walking/cycling, having fun with the kids and/or observing wildlife.
Where the River Bends contains 3 more trading cards of local species at risk that you can see at different times of year along this portion of the Ottawa River and surrounding wetland and upland areas. There are 26 cards in the full set - collect them all by visiting other geocaches in the region!
