Geocache Description:

A "bold" tree climb in the delightful Coldhams Common. A companion cache to Paradise Ascension and Lord Byron's Ascension.

This is the second cache in the "Ascension" series, by me and The_Local_Echo.

CAUTION: This is a slippery, technically challenging and exposed tree climb. I placed the cache without any aid equipment, but it is strongly suggested that you use protection, or even undertake this as a belayed climb. If you fall without protection, you will hurt yourself. To this end, I have graded it as terrain 5, as while it is technically possible to reach the cache without equipment, I do not recommend it.

The cache is in a film container, some way out on a limb. See spoiler photo for details. There is a pencil in the cache. All finds must be logged in the cache; sorry, but I can't accept unlogged sightings!

The cache is visible from the ground if you look carefully. Congratulations to MissKemosabe and Cannonfodder32 for a very impressive FTF!

Cache placed with kind permission of Cambridge City Council.
