We love geocaching because it gives us an excuse to go out and drive up and down dirt roads in the middle of nowhere. You come across all kinds of cool stuff when you are out country cruising... like this monument to a pioneer woman who lived and died on the Kansas prairie.
The best way to access the location is to turn east on 290th from Lincolnville. The road is generally good but can get a little messy when it's wet. There is an active cattle feedlot near the location- you will be able to smell the money- and these roads are heavily traveled by large silage trucks and tractors. Please watch out for them because they won't be watching for you. The field that the cache is in is swathed for hay so you may not be able to see the monument from the road. The cache is a small camo peanut butter jar with a log and a few tradeables.
