Have not been able to get a day off for caching for almost two years now. My boss is such a *&^%$#!.
This cache is a replacement cache of a sort. I say that because the original was archived by the powers that be because of a whiny cacher(s) that obviously does not know how to find a cache and assumes that due to numerous DNF's it must not be there.
I had a job in the vicinity this morning, so I brought a fresh container and was going to replace it, but GUESS WHAT?
THE ORIGINAL CACHE IS STILL THERE, HIGH AND DRY, SAFE AND SOUND, RIGHT WHERE I HID IT.
So I just replaced the log with a new one, and am creating this NEW cache.
Same container, same camo duct tape so you cannot see it, hidden under the same rock, three steps (not paces) from the parking lot.
And despite the three foot high snow bank, I did not have to move anything, just reached under the rock and had it in hand in seconds.
SO THE LESSON FOR TODAY, JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE COULD NOT FIND IT DOES NOT MEAN IT IS NOT THERE.
CHECK WITH THE CO FOR A HINT, OR CHAT WITH PREVIOUS FINDERS, IT IS AMAZING WHAT YOU CAN LEARN.
