We have found this to be a fun and educational event for my family. Today my 8 year old learned the basic fundamentals of lattitude and longitude.and how we used it to track where the cache was put and how it can be used to find anyone or anything if they know the coordinates.
We chose this location because our family lives across the street in Estrella, and we walk across to the ball park to watch the REd and indians play baseball during spring training. Grandma walks this park each morning for exercise. This place is the fringe of parking under a water cap, under the tree next to it. pink cover easy to see and find. the container is 8" long 2 1/2" diameter clear waterproof plastic with green plastic caps, purchased at home depot, it containd Geocaching guidelines and instructions and a link to geocaching.com, pencil , pad, and 5 trinkets.
