Geocache Description:

Before Roswell, there was the community of Lebanon. Settlers pick up their mail there. One of the 1st churches was Lebanon Baptist Church. (1836) During the war, Sherman disassembled the building and used it to make rafts to cross the Chatahochee. The church sat at the corner of Hwy 9 & Hwy 92 for over 100 years. In 1996, they moved to this property in which the cache is located.


In a wooded area near a secluded pond. Just a little hike off the beaten path.
