St. Winefred's church, Penrhiwceiber, erected in 1883, as a chapel of ease, at a cost of £1,900, is an edifice of stone in the Early English style, consisting of chancel with south aisle, transepts and nave: the pulpit is of Bath stone: the church was enlarged in 1888, at a cost of £700, and affords 410 sittings
