Hovden er ei endemorene som isen la etter seg då den starta tilbaketrekkinga i Oddadalen for ca. 10 000 år sidan. Heile Oddaeidet er eit resultat av isen sitt arbeid under siste istid. Hausten 2013 laga Rabben barnehage ei flott aktivitetsløype med gapahuk, seilebane, svevebane, hengebru, balansestokkar, klatrestativ og små leikehus.
Hovden is a end moraine from the glacier when it started withdrawal in Odda valley for approx. 10,000 years ago. The whole Oddaeidet is a result of the ice work during the last ice age. In the autumn of 2013 the kindergarden Rabben made a great activity run with a shelter, sail track, cable car, suspension bridge, balance sticks, climbing frame and small playhouses.
