*gln: ARCHIVING ABANDONED CACHE

Greetings dc2swhill,

Looks like our timing is off and It’s time to say goodbye to this cache.

Since I haven't any maintenance here in a very long time, I am going to assume that your priorities have changed and you’ve gone in a different direction.

Archiving due to lack of maintenance is permanent.
CACHE ARCHIVAL IS PERMANENT.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks a MILLION for all you have done, Glenn

Geocache Description:

Another 2014 Earthday Cache. Get out and find a cache!

Best Geo-quote ever,

"When you go to hide a geocache, think of the reason you are bringing people to that spot. If the only reason is for the geocache, then find a better spot." – briansnat

One of only a few caches located in this prime caching real estate know as the north end of the FHT (Frisco Highline Trail). Parking cords are provided to the closest offical trail head. Cars, ATV's, vans, boats, planes, tractors, mopeds, motorized bikes, or any other non-man powerd equipment. The trail may only be used in the daylight hours.

This cache is placed near a sight that most caching fans of the trail have seen before. The old telegraph line followed the old rail tracks most of the way to KC,MO. You can see many of the remains beside the trail on the east side. Even from time to time you may find the wire. In this section there is some left. I seen parts of six or seven poles in the 1.5 miles I walked the day I hid this cache. One was even clamped to a tree. It probaly wouldn't pass a saftey standard today.
