Take Your Pick (Auckland) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

status quo: As this cache has been out of action for too long and the non-active cache owner has not performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

Geocache Description:

An easy and accessible cache in a city street landscape. This cache is dedicated to guitar players, so please bring a guitar pick to exchange for one in the cache swag. if you're not a guitar player, come and find it anyway - it's fun!

Welcome to the possible epicentre of Auckland's guitar landscape. This area is littered with guitar makers, repairers and retailers, amplifier builders, violin repairers and hundreds of musicians. The area was originally known as Rocky Nook, in honour of its volcanic terrain. These days no-one calls it Rocky Nook, in fact no one can even seem to decide if it's Mt Eden, Eden Terrace or Kingsland! One thing is for sure, though... it still ROCKS!

This cache is loaded with an assortment of guitar picks to trade, so bring one of yours along to swap. The cache also contains a pencil, log scroll and cache note. Easy access day or night. Should be no trouble for tall or small, wheelchair riders, young or old. You just have to know where to look ;)
