SKYE: IDRIGILL POINT
A long way, but well worth the effort

The cache is placed with kind permission of HIE, who purchased Orbost Estate in 1997, in order to create new opportunities for sustainable rural development in this remote area.

With three earlier caches to collect on the way to the EarthCache at Macleod's Maidens, this now makes the 10-mile round trip worth the effort for cachers visiting this outstanding part of Skye.

The cache is on a point of high ground overlooking the cliffs of Idrigill Point; it's a lovely place to take a break on a warm day, with distant views of the Red and Black Cuillin.
