Geocache Description:


1928 did not have a Gold Cup race as there were major rule changes by the APBA and they did not run to allow for owners to build new hulls for the following year. 1929 Gold Cup race was run Red Bank, New Jersey. Richard. F. Hoyt won the Gold Cup in a hydroplane named Imp II that he owned with the speed of 50.5mph.
