Lou Fageol piloted Slo-Mo-Shun V to victories in 1951 and 1954, both races run in Seattle, Washington. He also won in Slo-Mo-Shun IV with co-pilot Joe Taggart in 1953. The 1951 Race was won with an average speed of 90.871MPH, in 1953 at 99.108 and then at 92.613 in 1954. The race in 1951 was shortened due to the fatal wreck that took the life of Orth Mathiot. After the 1954 race Lou Fageol retired from competition.
