George Henley and the Pay N Pak boat were able to win back to back Gold Cups in 1974 and 1975. The 1974 race was run at Seattle, Washington with an average speed of 104.428 MPH. Then the race moved to Tri-Cities, Washington with the win coming with an average speed of 108.921. George Henley would rtire the following year after a short 5 year career in the unlimited hydroplanes.
