Geocache Description:

A couple of stages to this one. Locate the wireless transmitter at the cache coordinates - decode some Morse code and you then have a short drive and a short walk to the final cache.

You will need a smart phone or laptop to 'listen' to the page that is being transmitted. The network is GC52252.

Victor Aubrey Smith was a naval telegraphist he signed up in 1943 and remained in the Royal Navy for another 25 years. The link below gives a history of being a naval telegraphist, albeit 10 years after my father joined up!

This cache requires a bit of decoding the morse to find the final cache site. Numbers are easy enough. The page that is being transmitted from the wireless will give all the information that you need to go to the final cache. When you get there you'll be looking for a large tube , big enough for tbs log and small swaps.

The technical explanation from the wireless page was provided by Lifechooser and my thanks go to him for providing me the cache - coutesy of the Hampshire mid week madness meet in April 2014.
