This cliff has been used for bonfires, a shooting range, and as a trash dumpsite for many years. I try to clean up any large garbage people bring out, and enjoy having bonfires there occasionally. The geocache is actually on top of the cliffs in the maze and mushroom like rock formations. I really like the challenge of getting up there and the rewarding view once on top.
Don't try to climb the cliff to get to the top. Instead park your vehicle somewhere at the base and walk up the canyon to the right, following the natural gas pipeline. There are many ways to the top but it gets easier the further into the canyon you go. Please don't drive your vehicle into the canyon. It takes a long time for the brush to heal.
I changed the rating because the FTF suggestions. It usually takes me a little more than an hour to make a round trip. Take water and be careful!
