Whilst searching for this one, you can enjoy the first of the Talking Trees signs, and also don't forget to take a few moments to enjoy the views of Oxford's 'dreaming spires'.
The boardwalk you have been walking on and the nest box in the tree nearby have been constructed by students from the Oxford Academy studying for their BTEC in Countryside and Environment.
From here you can continue along the trail by the side of the golf course to the Talking Trees traditional cache, then down past the pond. The platform used by schools for pond dipping was also constructed by the students from the Academy. Please make sure both gates to this field are closed as there are often sheep in the field and they seem to like escaping!
I have deleted the car park co-ordinates as it has been fenced off, so please use the golfers car park on the left as you drive up the hill.
The cache is a small clip lock box, big enough for a few swaps and small TBs. It should have a pencil.
