It's a long drive along the Hume highway. This cache gives you the opportunity to pull in to a rest area, stretch your legs and log a cache. Come on, you are only 2 to 3 hours from melbourne. BE SAFE AND HAVE A BREAK.
Balmattum Southbound Rest Area is nice place to pull in and stretch your legs. Tell those Geokids to be careful and send them off on a hunt while you visit the toilets or picnic tables. Available to southbound traffic only and only after you have pulled in to the rest area. It is unsafe to access this cache while parked on the Hume highway. Cache is a good size, plenty of room for swaps and trackables. Please monitor south bound traffic before you make the grab.
