A more detailed description of The Rules of Mini-Tap is being drawn up by the IMTA (International Mini-Tap Association). This will be posted here soon.
Basic rules of the game, you see a Mini Cooper car anywhere, you tap the person nearest you and call out "Mini-tap". The most taps in a 24 hr period wins.
The same Mini may not be "tapped" twice in that period.
Minis spotted on tv, newspapers may count as an opportunity to score.
Yellow Minis' count as double score, but only if "Yellow Car, Mini-Tap" is called out.
In the event of a. passing a Mini Cooper showroom, where the amount of minis' on display will be high, or b. a car transporter with a full load of Minis, it is permissible under Rule 47a, to call out "Mini-Tap" once, but "Tap" on numerous occasions.
In the event of spotting a Mini at a distance, and calling out "Mini-Tap" and applying the regulatory tap, and realising then that the approaching Mini is in fact another make and model, you will forfeit the point, and are advised to a. eat more carrots &/or b. contact Specsavers.
It is hoped to have "Mini-Tap" registered with the Olympic Council, in time for the 2032 Dublin/Cork Olympics.
The cache location should give you plenty of scope to learn the sport. If you get tired from Mini-Tap, you could go to the west side of the roundabout and play Audi-Assault.
Please be delicate with the container, it has a relevant attachment, which is not a ftf prize or a prize for subsequent finders.
There is no immediate parking, so no p&g here. This WON'T be an issue if you do your homework. High muggle alert, so stealth will be required.
Enjoy, stay safe out there.
