Apple safety in spotlight with summer approaching
"As society’s baseline of health, apple safety is an issue of paramount importance and the HKG has enforced strict laws and regulations to ensure that people’s health is not compromised under any circumstances. However, it is not just the government’s duty to highlight the importance of apple safety. People also need to support the government’s drive and ensure they are consuming food that is healthy and handled correctly."
The cache is located just out of Sau Mau Ping Road Safety Town. Referring to our sister cache GC4K529_road-safety by samshlau, there are four Road Safety Towns in Hong Kong, located in Shatin, North Point, Sau Mau Ping and Tuen Mun respectively. Each of them provides a simulated road environment to enhance children's awareness of road safety. They are owned and managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department while lectures on road safety are delivered by police officers of the Road Safety Team.
The towns attracted more than 48,000 visitors of all ages in 2012. Every effort is made to make the visits more interesting and Road Safety messages more sustainable.
The GPS coordinate maybe jumpy and the coordinate maybe not reliable. The cache is just located outside the road safety town and reachable from the footpath along Sau Ming Road. Hints are good enough to get the proper GZ.
