Geocache Description:


Cache is located in Ashburnham State Forest. Take Rt. 119 west till you see a brown sign for the Midstate Trail (it'll be on your right) not far after the jct. with Rte. 101. Parking is available at N 42°41.811 W 071°54.265. There are signs at the trailhead with mileage to various points of interest. Follow the Midstate Trail (marked by yellow triangles), until it splits off from the State Line Trail then continue along the State Line Trail (marked by blue triangles).

Cache is in an ammo box approximately 40 feet off the trail. Trail can be very muddy at times. During hunting season wear bright orange or red clothing.

Some of the cache's original contents have a movie theme but it is not necessary to trade movie themed items. Included in the cache are:

  • Log book and pencil
  • Wrist Compass
  • P-38 Military can opener
  • Movie Trailer "All About the Benjamins"
  • National Amusements flashlight keychain
  • Movie buttons
  • Misc. kids toys
If you continue along the trail you will reach the New Hampshire state line which is 1.15 miles from the parking area.
