I was told this area under the bridge was called 'Fourth of July Camp' by the old-timers because they used to come here and set off their fireworks and have a big campout. I used to ride here because there used to be enough water I could let my horses swim, and no matter how HOT is was, the water under the bridge was frigid! A great way to cool off after a 3 hour ride while we enjoyed our lunch and plenty of grass for the horses to have lunch too :)
