Geocache Description:

A cache placed inside the historic town hall in Bridgnorth High Street, to encourage visitors to pay a visit.

From the inside there is a much better view of the stained glass windows, and plenty of other interesting features.

The given coordinates will take you to the entrance, go inside and head for the tea room

~~Town Hall

The Town Hall was the former Magistrates and County Court and the Assizes were held there from 1665. The building was constructed in 1652 from a redundant tithe barn donated by a Lady Bertie from the town of Much Wenlock. Today it is the centre for all civic and ceremonial events and is open regularly for visitors. Both the Council Chamber and Court Room are available for private hire both for meetings and events.

Summer (1st April – 30th September)
 Monday, Wednesday and Friday  11:00 am to 4:00 pm
 Tuesday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
 Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
 Sunday 10:30 am to 3:00 pm
 Thursday closed all day

Winter (1st October – 31st March) Open 11am – 3pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
