Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Palmyra-Eagle Area School District nature trail!  This cache is dedicated to our family pet, Homer, who passed away several years ago.  Homer loved watching birds from any available window and made a unique cackling sound when he saw them.  I thought this would be a perfect location to honor him.

This trail is a wide, nicely maintained path.  It is a fairly quick walk with little to no bushwacking required.  It would be a wonderful family cache experience.  While placing the container, a turkey and several geese were spotted.  There are also three small ponds located along the trail, as well as some wetland areas to admire.

Please park in the parking lot on the right side of the Palmyra-Eagle Middle School/High School building.  The trail entrance is a short distance away, near a large green utitlity box.  The trail begins parallel to the railroad tracks.  Trailhead entrance coordinates are provided on this page.

Permission to place this cache granted by the Palmyra-Eagle Area School District Superintendent, Mr. Glenn Schlender.
