Geocache Description:

One of the Caches in the Boothbay Region Corridor series. These caches will lead you down the peninsula through Edgecomb, Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor and Southport. Bordered by the Sheepscot and Damariscotta rivers, and the Atlantic Ocean, this is one of the most beautiful areas in the Midcoast of Maine, offering a multitude of nature walks and vistas, entertainments, and dining. A wonderful place to visit, but also a great place to live!

This is one of the best views in the area on the way to East Boothbay. No matter what the weather, the layers of views are enchanting. Steep pull off to the parking area, but some benches to sit 'n enjoy in a pretty Boothbay Region Land Trust park. Even saw a Bald Eagle fly over just after placing the cache!
