Park Hours: Dawn to Dusk
CEDAR HILL PARK and Marina:
Most caches placed previously at Cedar Hill have emphasized the Marina side of this park.
This side of the park provided facilities for 4 sports:
- tennis courts
- basketball court
- softball field
- geocaching
The marina is surrounded by the peaceful and secluded park area. There is a pavilion and floating dock by the water’s edge, perfect for fishing or crabbing in the summer, and a small beach area with a gorgeous view of the river. Next to the marina is the wooded section of the park, providing much welcomed shade in the summertime. Here visitors will find the public restroom facilities, another large pavilion with picnic tables and grills, a playground area, and a walking trail. The playground includes two swing sets, a spinning merry-go-round, and a play set with slides and climbing equipment.
