Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of caches hidden as part of a 2014 CITO Event on April 26th. The Park is located near Fenkell and Telegraph, has 250 acres of land, making it the fourth largest park in Detroit. It is about one fourth of the area of Belle Isle or a quarter square mile.

In 2010 Chazz Miller, a Detroit artist, and several volunteers painted plywood cutouts of butterflies as part of the "Papillion Effect" an anti-blight campaign ("Papillon" is  French for "butterfly"). Miller added several butterflies to the nature trails at Eliza Howell Park. The Brightmoor Community Council is maintaining and extending these trails.

You'll notice “Grow Zones”. Areas that are not being mowed to preserve and return sections to the original native prairie.

Scook's Mom and Gsix5666 are responsible for the container. Please replace the cache as found.
