Geocache Description:

A cache placed near to the village hall where I spent my very first Brownie Camp away from home in Bournemouth at the age of 7 in 1958.

The Village Hall is located on the Eastern edge of Ibberton Village adjoining fields and the village cricket pitch.

Ibberton village lies at the foot of Bulbarrow Hill, in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, overlooking the Blackmore Vale. Examples of cross dykes, strip lynchets and round barrows can be seen on the surrounding hills.

The village has several listed buildings in its Conservation Area, including a 17th century manor house, now a working farm, and several thatched cottages.

The cache is placed on the other side of the road from the village hall and is large enough for small swaps, TBs, coins etc.  Please trade fairly and replace exactly as found.  Thank you!
