Part of 12 cache series around beautiful Lake Arenal. Lids have code to find final bonus cache, near cache #1. Bonus coordinates: N 10 AB.CDE W 84 FG.HIJ. You'll see many animals, incredible views of the lake, the volcano and experience a true Costa Rican adventure. 4WD best, though it is a relatively major road and in good shape by local standards. Watch for snakes. TB in the bonus cache for FTF (tho officially in the inventory of #12)!
The mono congo (howler monkey) is one of four species of monkeys in Costa Rica, and without a doubt the loudest. Many times we've seen them in the trees or on the power lines near this spot. Enjoy the view!
