Cache is not at posted coordinates. The caches in this series all contain questions related to the history of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets. All the information needed to answer the questions in this 21-cache series can be found by going to the corps Guidon.
Six of the Medal of Honor caches (seven total) all contain hints to help you find a 21st cache. You need to complete those first before going after the final one in the series. All containers in the series, except for the final, are small homemade bisons constructed out of PVC with soda bottle tops. They are painted in such a way as to be VT appropriate.

The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets became the first organization outside of regular Army units to receive a formal grant of a Coat of Arms from the Army Institute of Heraldry. The corps crest is worn by cadets on the shoulders of their ACU/BDU uniforms, and as a pin on their covers (hats) by sophomores and juniors.
There is much symbolism on the crest. The corps crest contains the following elements.
- A Flaming Grenade – Represents preparation for war
- A Laurel Wreath – Symbolizes the Presidential Unit Citation given to the regimental band for Spanish American War Service.
- The Color Red – Symbolizes strength and courage
- Sword – Represents command
There are four golden stars on the crest that represent what?
- The four cardinal directions N 37 3.122 W 76 24.647
- Virginia Tech’s four previous names N 37 3.222 W 76 24.647
- The major wars in which Tech graduates have fought N 37 3.425 W 76 23.624
- The number of R.O.T.C. programs that Virginia Tech has N 37 3.422 W 76 24.647
