Geocache Description:

This cache is being placed in the name of my Child Bride to honor her for the courage she has shown these past seven years in facing a chronic debilitating illness. Heather, along with an estimated 800,000 others in the US, is suffering from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, also known as Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS) or just Chronic Fatigue.

Along with the normal cache goodies to be found in this cache will be a print out describing the illness and a list of web sites where more information can be found. Please take one.

This cache will be found in a square Rubbermaid container painted brown and green. It blends right in with the background so you’ll need to look directly at it to see it.

If height is a challenge, you’ll be challenged here. Stay behind the guardrail and stay alert while observing all safety rules for walking on a highway. I recommend parking at 44° 08.104N, 124° 07.303W for a half-mile round trip walk to the cache. The last 400 feet of your journey will be a bit of a scramble through some brush on a critter trail but not overly difficult. The location is not necessarily child friendly so if you choose to bring a child there are places you may want to hold their hand or carry them.

The site will give fluctuating GPS readings due to trees and limited sky visibility.

Be sure to bring a camera.
