Aldborough Amble 7 – Weavers Way Approach Traditional Cache

If approaching this cache from Aldborough Amble 5 continue along Chapel Road in the direction of the village.  Before you reach the large village green you will pass the old Methodist Church (see below)  Built in 1907. This is no longer a place of worship but has been converted into a private residence.

You are looking for a public footpath between the old Post Office and Butterfly house. This can be seen in the picture below.  The path can get very muddy in the winter.  This path will lead to a kissing gate which you will need to go through this in order to find the cache.  This path joins the Weavers Way with access to Hanworth  to the North and Alby and Erpingham to the south.

The cache is a black camouflaged tube containing only a log.  Please bring your own pen.  A tool for extraction may also be helpful.

After finding the cache retrace your steps to the village green and head westwards.  You are looking for a footpath/passageway between two buildings which leads to St Andrews Chapel.
