Hai già visitato la soprastante Arma di Pollera ? Ti conviene farlo!
Essa si è formata nel punto di contatto tra la Pietra di Finale, una roccia calcarea relativamente recente, e il substrato più antico pressoché impermeabile, sul corso sotterraneo del Rio Montesordo, le cui acque tornano in superficie proprio qui, attraverso la Grotta del Buio.
La Grotta del Buio e L'Arma di Pollera sono infatti collegate internamente ed è possibile spostarsi da una all'altra all'interno del monte ma per farlo bisogna avere capacità ed attrezzatura adeguate visto che sul percorso vi è un sifone di ca. 4 m di profondità da superare.
Voi, cari geocacciatori, potete vedere entrambi i luoghi con meno fatica, passando dall'esterno e rimanendo per la maggior parte in superficie.
La Grotta del Buio (anche chiamata Arma do Buio), è lunga 385 metri, il cache si trova a ca. 50 metri dall'entrata.
Attrezzatura: Scarpe e abbigliamento adatte per entrare in acqua, una buona torcia.
 Il Buio (The Darkness)
Have you already visited the overhead cave Arma di Pollera ? It’s worthwhile !
That big cave originates where the relative young limestone a.k.a. “Finale Stone” and the older almost impermeable substrate converge, at the underground course of the stream Rio Montesordo.
This cache is placed in the spot where the Rio Montesordo surfaces through the cave named Grotta del Buio.
Indeed, the caves Grotta del Buio and Arma di Pollera are internally connected. By means of the correct equipment and skills it is possible to explore both caves in-ground sliding through a 4 mt deep siphon.
Dear Geocachers, searching for these two caches makes things easier and you'll visit both caves by means of the designated trails.
The Grotta del Buio is about 385 meters long, the cache is located approx. 50 meters from the entrance.
Equipment: Shoes and clothes suitable for water activities and good flashlight.
 Il Buio (Die Dunkelheit)
Habt Ihr bereits die etwas weiter oben liegende Höhle Arma di Pollera besucht? Es würde sich lohnen !
Die große Höhle entstand dort, wo der relativ junge Kalkstein, auch bekannt als "Finale Stein", auf das ältere, nahezu wasserundurchlässigen Substrat trifft, entlang des unterirdischen Verlaufs des Baches Montesordo.
Die Stelle dieses Cache ist jene wo dieser Bach durch die Grotta del Buio an die Erdoberflaeche kommt.
Tatsächlich sind die Höhlen Grotta del Buio und Arma di Pollera intern miteinander verbunden. Man kann sich also mit der richtigen Ausrüstung und selbsteverstaendlich den Fähigkeiten unterirdisch von einer zur anderen bewegen und diese erkunden. Jedoch muss man dazu durch einen 4 Meter tiefen Siphon tauchen.
Dies wollen wir Euch ersparen, liebe Geocacher, mit diesen zwei Caches könnt Ihr beide Höhlen einfacher erkunden und dabei grösstenteils an der Erdoberfläche bleiben.
Die Grotta del Buio ist 385 Meter lang, der Cache befindet sich ca.. 50 Meter vom Eingang entfernt.
Ausrüstung: Schuhe und Kleidung um ins Wasser zu gehen und eine Taschenlampe.
