SS Ashby Canal Stroll - Tunnel Traditional Cache

This is one of four caches placed to extend our SS Ashby Canal stroll to Snarestone. This one is placed very close to were the canal disappears under the village. Stealth will be required as its close to the pub garden and car park.

This stroll is child friendly, but please keep an eye on them as you are walking along the towpath, which a good off road buggy is advisable as it can get narrow in places and will get muddy after the rain.

The Ashby canal here disappears under the village of Snarestone by a tunnel which is only passable by boat. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO THROUGH THE TUNNEL ON FOOT. The path goes up between a house and the pub.
