Barry Larkin #16, Michigan 1983-1985
Barry played shortstop for 3 years, being named All-American twice, Big Ten Player of the Year twice and leading Michigan to two College World Series appearances (the 1984 Wolverines were the last Big Ten team until the 2013 Hoosiers to make it). He is still in the top ten in Michigan history for career triples, runs, stolen bases, slugging percentage and total bases. He was drafted in the first round, 4th overall by the Cincinnati Reds – the highest ever for a Wolverine baseball player. He was elected to the Professional Baseball Hall of Fame in 2012.
