“Three Churches and a Model T”

This book fits Richmond to a T...pardon the pun! Richmond is home to several amazing churches, including the Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church located at 11th and North A Streets which features actual Tiffany glass windows! Plus the area has a rich automotive history. A visit to the Wayne County Historical Museum will reveal nine different automobiles that were among those built in Richmond’s automotive heyday. And thanks to a local mechanical engineer, Ralph Teetor, who became frustrated when riding with his lawyer who would speed up and slow down as he was talking, the first modern cruise control was invented in Wayne County in 1948.
The coordinates for this cache will take you to one of the area's newer automotive marvels...The Model T Museum in the Depot District. Admission to tour the Museum is $7 for adults, $5 for veterans with ID, $5 for students age 6-17, and free for children 5 years and younger. You are welcome to wander through the lobby and the museum gift shop for free. If you have the time, we highly recommend taking a tour. You won't regret it. This area is also filled with amazing murals and architecture.
This is a two stage multi cache and is only available Tuesday through Friday from 10AM-5PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM. Please observe all health and safety protocols in affect at the time of your visit. The listed coordinates will take you to a small container, the container will have information that will take you to the final cache to sign the log.

This cache is part of the Decades of Discovery series placed to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Morrisson-Reeves Library. There were eight original caches in the series, each themed around a book or movie, that took you to unique places throughout Wayne County, Indiana. The series is slowly shrinking due to persistent muggles. We will keep as many of the original hides going as we can.
