Lepers Cache
Holdenhurst is one of Bournemouth`s oldest villages, having been mentioned in the doomsday book in 1086.
There is an area called Lepers Pit situated here which not may people know about.
It is believed that the bodies of the dead Lepers were put into the pit to quaranteen them. This could be a myth??
It is situated in Holdenhurst Village which is lovely.
