Geocache Description:

WARNING: Please take extra care when climbing over rocks as they can be really slippy when wet.

Oxen Craig is the highest hill on the Bennachie range (although most people think Mither Tap is) and is classified as a Marilyn, which is a hill that rises at least 500 feet their surrounding land.

The quickest route to the cache is to park at the Back O' Bennachie car park and take the path up to the Oxen Craig. However, there are plenty of paths around the various summits of Bennachie meaning this cache can be accessed from any of the car parks if you're up for a longer walk. There are a number of other caches also available nearby.

Thanks to the forestry commission for permission to place this cache.

Please note, there is no need to move any stones or climb up any rocks in order to find this cache.
