Welcome to BSL: TB Hotel
Boiling Spring Lakes was incorporated in 1951 and named after its “boiling spring” that flows with such a churning action that it resembles boing water. This spring is said to be an incredibly pure stream of water. The city encompasses an area of 23.3 square miles and is the home of more than 50 natural and man-made lakes. The population is still growing from the stated 5506 in 2011.This is our first cache and one of a series of caches we are placing to bring others to our city to enjoy some of our great parks and other interesting places of the city of Boiling Spring Lakes (better known as BSL).
You are looking for an Ammo Box hidden near the “Welcome to Boiling Spring Lakes” sign. This should be an easy park and grab and a safe hotel for you trackables to rest for a spell. However, there are some words of caution. Traffic here gets very busy at certain times of the day.The speed limit is 55 mph, so give yourself time to pull off to the shoulder of the road before you reach the cache location. There is a drive going to the sign which allows limited parking. This parking area may be soft and wet after a long rain. Please think of safety and don’t be surprised if you are greeted here by one of BSL’s finest!
