When I was a child, my Mom would take my siblings, Cathy, Glen, and I, for LONG walks. The same walk, would be much shorter today however. The development of Heron Lake Estates, has dramatically shortened the distance between Concession Road #four and Concession Road #three.
We would always take a small folding, sitting stool with us, in the event our little legs would tire. On the few occasions we forgot the infamous stool, my mom would carry Cathy and I.
Glen was born in, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty. I was born in, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty Four. The youngest, Cathy, was born in, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty Six.
