Geocache Description:

A ship's chandler is a retail dealer who specialises in supplies or equipment for ships (Wikipedia).  What better description for this series of caches across Sands of Placida (used to be Rotonda Sands)!

If you enjoy this series, let us know.  If you didn't tell us anyway.

This cache is easy to find, even with a little of bushwacking.  Please do NOT remove or otherwise detach the container.  Geocaching is like Golf, a game of honesty with yourself.  If you can't sign the log without dismantling anything either log a DNF, log nothing or claim the find anyway. I'm not going to check against the log.  Please leave it as you find it for the enjoyment (or frustration) of others!

Once again the cache was destroyed by someone without the wit to solve the puzzle for themselves. If you can't get to the log without dismantling the cache, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE just claim it without signing it. I will never check. Don't ruin the fun for other people!!!!

This series of caches (now 10) is ideal for a bike ride, however we expect that most of you will drive, so make sure you keep your car off the road when parking and try and employ stealth.  It's probably a bit far to walk around all of them.  We have attempted to keep them all out of sight of houses, but Florida is building again so no promises for the future.

Some of these may be easy, but some are intended to be hard to find, so they are all graded the same. Very few of them are wheelchair accessible but should be no problem for anyone else.  Most of the containers are small, with no room for anything but the log.  Please return as you found them.

You will need (at various times on various caches):
1. Some tweezers, or better long nosed pliers.
2. Water - it will be hot, it's Florida!
