The church of St John the Baptist, Llanhennock, is a Grade II listed building. Although of Norman origin, it was re-built in 1863 in the perpendicular style. The embattled tower contains two bells. Among the artefacts within the church is a chalice dated 1576.
The cache is not on church property, but please take the time to have a look around the church if you can. Also of interest, just outside the church's main gate is an unusual Victorian wall-mounted mail-box.
When replacing the cache, please ensure that it is secure in its position. Note also that there is no pen/pencil in the cache.
PLEASE NOTE: All outdoor activities carry an element of risk. You assume ALL responsibility for your safety when you are geocaching.
In the countryside, do not stray from marked footpaths. Do not try to feed or pet farm animals as they may not be friendly.
