Why aren't those animals moving?
Hiking along the Manzanita Trail in Skyline Wilderness Park for the first time last week, I was surprised to see a wide variety of animals dotting the hillsides. However, I soon noticed that they seemed frozen in place. A few moments later I put two and two together and realized that these poor beasts were never going to leave their spots. At GZ, be sure to look up the hill at the sweet pair of "deer."
The cache is a small plastic cylinder containing a log, located just a step or two off the trail.
The summer hours for Skyline Wilderness Park are 8:00am-7:00pm. There is a $5.00 charge to enter the park by car.
