Geocache Description:

This cache is just a few steps off the trail in the recreational portion of the park. The original regular size container was stolen, now replaced with a small clear plastic container.

This cache is in PEAR Park (Palatlakaha Environmental and Recreational Park) and was placed with permission from Lake County FL Parks & Trails.  The front portion of the park bordering US-27 is the recreational area with trails, tennis courts, baseball fields, dog park, playground, and other amenities.  The rear portion is the environmental area with trails, scrub jay habitat, and gazebos to sit in and observe nature.

This cache is in a plastic clear lock & lock container not far off the trail.  It should not be difficult to find. There are thorny plants nearby so watch out for those.

Use the entrance off US-27 across from the Legacy of Leesburg subdivision.

Cache contains a log book with pen.

UPDATE: Replaced the container in October 2025.
