Ithaca has always been crazy about its local school teams, which happened to be nicknamed the Yellowjackets. We love them so much, we have put them on our water tower, and just about every car and business has the yellowjacket logo on their windows.
Not to mention, the Ithaca football team has won four state championships in a row and have gone undefeated in those four years!
As a proud alumni, I have decided to hide a cache close to the baseball fields, and within walking distance to its now-famed football stadium. If you can catch a game, be amazed at how the whole city comes to enjoy watching some local football action.
Cache is hidden on private property on my front yard, located on the NW corner of Arcada and Union streets, where the long white house sits. Feel free to park off Union Street or park in our driveway off ot Arcada. There are animals in the yard, but they are completely harmless and hardly ever venture as far out where the cache is. This is a busy intersection with curious kids that go to and from school, so use some stealth with them. Other than that, it should be an easy and fun find!
Cache is a peanut butter jar filled with some goodies. Please make sure the cache's hiding spot is secured so the wind doesn't take it out!
