***** April 30/19 - new container and hiding spot *****
Earlier this year we had to say "good-bye" to the most popular member of our geocaching brigade. Lover of a good hike and sniffing out tupperware in the woods, she was our companion of 12 years and will be greatly missed.
Over the years we have enjoyed many geo-hikes here in Little Tract. Especially in the fall after mosquito season is over. There never seemed to be any lack of enthusiasm from our little geocache buddy to sniff out any container, at least until she knew there was no food inside!
Since saying "good-bye" we have been joined by a new member of the team. We adopted her from the Guelph Humane Society this past January and certainly admire her love of a good hike and searching for tupperware - although she seems to pay more attention to the squirrels and other rodents. A curious mix of Jack Russell Terrier, Corgi, and a few other mystery breeds, she certainly has enough "Beagleness" to qualify for the team!
Cache is a larger pill bottle, black cammo tape. Bring your own scribe please. No room for trade items. Stay on the main trails until you get within 10-15 meters than a small side trip to what should be an obvious hiding spot.
Recommended parking is at the south entrance on County Road 34 just west of Sideroad 10 N.
