Geocache Description:

We love this location for the educational opportunities.  Where else can you grind your own corn, flint knap, and witness native ceremonies in Lake County?  The exhibits include cultures from around North America and have costumes, pottery, porcupine boxes, artwork, and tools.  Don't forget to also explore the Eastlake Archaeological Dig and see all the different artifacts that were found during modern construction.  Makes you want to dig in your own backyard!

To find this cache, you'll need to do a little research for your Quest.  Who is important to Native cultures?  Who came before the White Man?  Who traveled with Lewis and Clark?  Answer these questions and you will find your Camelot.

Museum hours are: 10-4pm Monday through Friday and 1-4pm on the weekends. The Museum is closed for all major holidays and when the snow is past your shins on the roads.
