Geocache Description:

A very nice hidden lagoon on the north east of idyllic Krossøy. Also has an intriguing history. A Shetland based Norwegian gun/torpedo boat used the inlet as hiding place before striking at shipping in Krossfjord. They put a torpedo in DT "Borgny" that was transporting fuel for German planes. The mastermind behind the plan was local Sjur Normann Østervold - a legend in the Norwegian navy.
