No Ball Playing Allowed Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Blue Crow Expedition: beezers958 transferred forty-five geocaches to me in 2015. This is the last of them. It had 246 finds and two favorite points during its time.

The geocache was hidden in a sign post. I noticed the sign had gotten loose over the past few years. I'm guessing that was because so many geocachers had their hands on it. I brought a box of wrenches and tightened the screws today.

This is a fun spot. I'm glad so many people got to see it.

Geocache Description:

About the Location

Here is a little public green space in the Village of Shorewood. It is not quite a park. It's just a patch of grass that the village maintains, similar to the triangular island across from it in the middle of the road, except this part is connected to a larger city block. It measures 35 feet across at its widest point and it's surrounded on three sides by roads with parked cars, so it's not a good place to play ball -- just in case that's what you had in mind.

There is free street parking right next to the green space. The cache is findable even with a lot of snow on the ground. You will be out in the open and a lot of people like to walk in this area, so some stealth is required.

Credit to Beezers958

Beezers958 originally found this location and hid a geocache here in 2014. He transferred it to me in 2015 when he moved to another state and I have maintained it since then.
