MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of Subtle Point to find out about the status of this cache on July 16, 2007. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Geocache Description:

My first hide, planted to mark my 200th find. A bucolic hike to a serene pond-side resting spot. A few rolling hills but nothing to slow down post-toddlers. About a mile and one-half round trip. Cache is on the small size. The hint has trailhead info, not cache details.

Parking: Difficulty is a 2 because although there are three access points for the public trails that lead to the cache site, the easiest to find is still somewhat obscure. If everything looks like trespassing to you, please use the hint.

Hiking: While the trails are open to the public, they are primarily used by local residents. They may be a bit protective of the domain. Please consider that if you end up chatting about your mission.

Finding: Not a lot of hiding places out there. Look around for the out of place item. Please tread lightly. Only small items will fit.
